| Many people choose to have a painting done of their
beloved horse as a way to honor their friendship and companionship
both during its life and beyond. That special image of one's companion
can evoke memories and emotions. With this in mind, I look at many
pictures of the horse and speak to its human regarding personality
and expressions. My goal is to capture the essence of the animal with
emphasis on its 'eye'. We all know how much those sweet eyes tell.
If possible, I will visit the horse and take some of my own pictures
with my digital camera. Otherwise you can send me pictures and we
will discuss the images via email and phone. Having a commissioned
piece done is a very personal process of which I welcome any questions.
